Great Day

We had a very nice day today. First, we played another round of golf at the Duran Three Par. I only hit one sand trap today. It was a much better day! Bill was kind in the scoring since he didn't count the two I knocked into the pond on the blasted eighth hole...
Then, we went to the movies at the Rave to see Faster with Dwayne Johnson. It was pretty good. Quite a different role for him.

Finally, we went to the Melting Pot for dinner. Delicious!!

Golf

Can you say "sand trap"? There were 8 holes out of 9 with a sand trap, and I hit every one. Plus one extra. Yes, two sandtraps on one hole. Aaaaaugh!!

Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. My parents came up, Jon was here, and Julie and her family too. Dinner was good, but we didn't get any photos. My brother Jon spent the night with us so Bill could take him to the airport in the morning. It was wonderful to spend some time with him before he took off this morning.

My brother Jon is visiting us this week for Thanksgiving. He stopped by today, and will be back tomorrow to spend the night.

Islands of Adventure

Went to Islands of Adventure with Marilynn and the boys. The boys being Jean-Luc, Cole, and Jake. We saw the new Harry Potter exhibit. It was great!! There were more people there than we liked, but they did thin out as the day went on. It was also drizzly and not too warm, it was actually a good day to go. Marilynn visiting

Marilynn got here last night for a weekend visit. We whisked her right off to dinner at Outback and then the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, part 1 movie.

We've got a big weekend planned. Bill has his golf tournament today, and I've got to take Anton to his robotics competition. Marilynn and Jean-Luc will pal around this morning. I'll be dropping Chris off with Matthew for the night. Then, we've got the Edgewood Baseball Dinner and Auction tonight.

For tomorrow, Jean-Luc, Marilynn, and I will be going to Universal Studios. Bill and Chris will be doing his science project with Avery, and Anton will be doing some much needed homework.

Busy Day

Saw Zach's new movie, The Trial. It was pretty good! The after party was also good, but Chris lost his dogtag from Fall Ball. The final game was yesterday.

Well, the game of golf was a lot of fun. Even though I had to walk back to the car and get a bandaid after the third hole. Chris somehow cut his finger, and I left my purse in the car. Doh! I think my score was in the low hundreds... I definitely need some more practice. And on the 8th hole, I lost 3 balls into the pond. Took the max on that hole...

And finally, we went to the Melting Pot at The Avenue mall. At first, the boys were not too happy about this "fondue thing". The food was good and it was a fun time, they ended up liking it a lot.

Last of Fall Ball

There's one more game left, but I don't think I'll be taking photos. I'll be doing registrations for Spring Ball at Jean-Luc and Anton's game, and Chris' game will be too dark. Enjoy these photos from the second half of 2010 Fall Ball.

Isabel at Halloween

My sister-in-law Karen sent these photos over of her daughter Isabel at Halloween. She's absolutely adorable!

Halloween

Well, I forgot to pull out my camera last night. Doh! Chris was a really cool zombie. He had the torn, bloody shirt, and his makeup was done by the Costume Shack. His face was all white, dark eye sockets and mouth, and blood everywhere! He even had wounds put on to look authentic. Anton was an FBI agent, and Jean-Luc was the scary harlequin.

Jean-Luc took off to Wil's house early. The Rice's and the Mill's came over for dinner and trick or treating. Little Suzy was a zebra, Kenny was a zombie hunter, and Johnny was a ghoul. Paulie was scaring the kids that came for candy. Suzy looked great, she was dressed as a pirate. Avery was the Prince of Persia.

We tried to make bloody mary's, but they tasted terrible. So I stuck with beer, and Suzy had some gin in pink lemonade. Bill and Paul took the kids around trick or treating, and Suzy, Kathy, and I gave out candy. We showed Killer Clowns on the side of the house.
