Anton and Mariah Visit

Anton and Mariah came to visit me and Bill in Washington DC. We had a wonderful time with them and the doggies. And we went to a Pittsburgh Pirates game! And the Pirates won in the last inning!

Marilynn Visits Washington DC

Marilynn came up to visit me in Washington DC this weekend. We had a blast! First, we went to the estate of Marjorie Post, heiress to the General Foods brand. Beautiful! Then a nice walk around the National Arboretum. And finally her niece Vivienne joined us for a visit to DC to the Smithsonian Hirshhorn Museum and the Smithsonian Museum for African American culture. I liked the African American museum better!

Hurricane Irma decided to stop by... It's very rainy and blowey today! We'll get the worst of the storm later tonight.

Virginia's Natural Bridge

Bill and I got up early on Sunday and took a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway to the south. We went by the Natural Bridge. Pretty cool!!
