We had a small party here with Jean-Luc and V, Chris and Ashlee, and Jamie and Kat. Charcuterie, wine, drinks, and tons of Skull King. I have the bestest family ever!

A beautiful early morning launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9! 4:30 am, yawn!

From SpaceFlightNow: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched another batch of 54 Starlink internet satellites. This mission was the first into a new orbital shell for SpaceX’s second-generation Starlink constellation, called Starlink Gen2. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Anways came out from Medford to visit with Mariah and Sarrie for Christmas. A fantastic family! 💞

Aunt Rose was with Bela, Karen, and Isa this year in Pittsburgh. They had a very nice Christmas morning.

And then they joined Bela's family for Christmas dinner.

Christmas Eve

We had a Christmas Eve gathering with boys and girlfriends. Played games, ate charcuterie, and laughed and laughed! And, there was a frisky elf helping with the sausage balls for Christmas dinner.

Dinner with the Boys

Dinner at Cooper's Hawk with the boys and girlfriends. Also had my wine of the month wine. While dinner was excellent, the parking experience was challenging with everybody trying to get one last shop in.

Bill's Retirement from Darden

Bill's last day working for Darden. 30 years, that's a lifetime! Had a nice party for him afterwards at Bahama Breeze.

Christmas Boat Parade

Went to John W's place for the boat parade. Brent M and wife Joy were on a cruise, so we missed them. But Ken R came down, that really made my evening. I went to school with these guys, so glad to see them now.

Kellie - we are SOOOOO incredibly proud of you!! Congratulations on graduating from the Rosen School at UCF with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. You ROCK!

How my day is going. My son Chris at his rugby tournament. Old Red Eye vs Jacksonville. They also played Ocala later in the day.

So far, they’ve won 2 games, and he scored a try in the second one. WooHoo!! 🏉🏉

Mariah

From my incredibly beautiful and talented daughter in law. She posted it on Facebook, but I just had to include it here.

"Recently I have started focusing a lot on accepting the timeline of MY life and not comparing it to the timeline of others. 

We do not own a home, but instead rent a beautiful townhome and that’s okay. With 100 cysts on my ovaries and other symptoms of PCOS, it has taken me years to lose weight and accept myself and that’s okay. Anton and I have been married for almost 6 years and have no children and that’s okay. I can grow leg hair and a mustache faster than my husband and that’s okay😉 

I am so grateful my plan is not His plan and that the timeline my Heavenly Father has for me is so incredible that I am being humbled now with the experiences I am having for the ones I have yet to have. 💛"

Christmas Party

Went to Frank and Meleny's Christmas party. It was nice to see them all again this year. We got the cat last year, but we were sneaky this year. We bought a little tiny cat in Nassau, and wrapped that. So whoever got the tiny cat, also got the big cat! Randy has to keep it for a year and bring it to next year's Christmas Party.

Housesitters

While we were cruising, Jean-Luc and Veronica watched the dogs at our house. Looks like they had fun!

Bahamas Cruise

Yep, another weekend Bahamas cruise. This time Chris and Ashlee came with us. We had a blast! We rented a golf cart ($120!!) and drove around Bimini several times, it's really, really small. But the views from the beach of the Caribbean are fantastic! And our favorite (to date) Alchemy bartender (Lulu) made a fantastic drink just for us!

This was the first launch of OneWeb satellites with SpaceX. The Falcon 9’s first stage booster returned to Landing Zone 1 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Delayed from November, Dec. 6, and Dec. 7.

Christmas Recital

Isa cut her hair! Later, Isa had a Christmas Recital with Batavia Studios! According to Kiki, she sounded amazing!
