Southern Caribbean Cruise - Day 2 - A Day at Sea

Another wonderful day at sea. Played 5 Crowns at the Red Frog Pub for a bit, then lunch at the Pig and Anchor. Ed won $100 at Bingo! Then a medical emergency popped up, so we sped full speed to Aruba! Getting in 9 hours early! Hung out at the Serenity Bar for a bit, met some nice guys.

Southern Caribbean Cruise - Day 1 - A Day at Sea

Glorious morning as we’re heading around the Bahamas on our way to Aruba. While I was out there, next picture, I noticed they had plants in the windows of the bridge! There’s others like tomatoes and stuff. Explored the rest of the ship, there's lots of cool stuff like a second casino room. We had a fantastic dinner at the steakhouse. We went to see the America Rocks show, then met JL and V at the casino for a bit.

Southern Caribbean Cruise - Embarkation

Sailing away vacation time!! Southern Caribbean here we come! A nice view of some of the other cruise ships! We're sailing with Jean-Luc and Veronica, and some old friends Ed and Bebe from New York. We were a little worried about them making the trip as there was a terrible storm raging in New York, but they were able to make it in the last half hour.

Cooking Class

Another cooking class with Jean-Luc and Yvette P. Dinner in Florence which is: Crespelle alla Fiorentina – ricotta and spinach stuffed crepes; Fresh garlic knots; Pollo all Fiorentina – chicken breast sauce in butter wine sauce, topped with spinach and melted mozzarella cheese; Roasted veggies; Chiacchiere crunchy cookies topped with cinnamon and powdered sugar. Fantastico!

Cooking Class

Fantastic cooking class with Alfredo. Notte Romano, that is: Pistachio mortadella crostini with crispy pancetta; Penne Carbonara, bacon, eggs and parmigiano reggino; Salito bocca alla Romana, veal cutlet, sage and prosciutto with butte sage sauce; and Bigne di San Giuseppe. Delicioso!

Momma Mia

Karen starred in Momma Mia as friend of the main character. She was fantastic in the play! I'm so glad we went up to see it.
