Bahamas Weekend Cruise - Day 1 - Nassau, Bahamas

We got to Nassau first before the Independence of the Seas, they would be getting in the next day. So Bill and I decided to set up a tchotchke for Frank and Meleny to find - sort of hunting for a geocache. We bought a little stone cat and hid it in one of the flowerbeds in the square near the docks. We sent a little poem, the coordinates, and a picture hint of where it was. Funny thing, next day, Frank and Meleny never got off the boat because it was raining! 😂

Bahamas Weekend Cruise - Embarkation

Cruising again, this time just me and Bill. Our friends, Frank and Meleny, are on the Independence of the Seas which will be paralleling us. And, it's Carnival's 50th anniversary!! Beer and burgers, what a great combo!! 💞

We left the dock before they did, but immediately had a medical emergency. We went and turned around, then docked again. So they were able to leave and pass us on the way out. We were on deck to wave!

Cooking Class

Took another cooking class with Chef Lopez at Alfredo's Paradiso Kitchen. The menu was from Puerto Rico: Sorullitos (corn fritters), Pastelon (plantain “lasagna”), Arroz con salchicahas (Puerto Rican rice and sausage), Tembleque (coconut pudding). However, we only got a photo of the wine... Which was very good by the way.

Chris graduated with a BS in Organization Management from Eastern Florida! And, he got an accounting job with the Orlando Diocese.

Rugby - Palm Beach vs Old Red Eye

Old Red Eye played Palm Beach again in Cocoa. They played a great game, but lost 5-20.

Cooking Class

Northern Italy cooking class at Alfredo's Paradiso Kitchen. Bill is stirring the pot. :) Menu: Fresh pasta agnolotti with meat sauce, Polenta infused with gorgonzola, and Chicken cordon blue.

Texas Friend

So nice to see Kimberly K. in Tampa! We both worked at Mythics on several projects, she is a fantastic project manager. Bill and I went and spent the weekend there, had a great time!

Birthdays

Dinner at Salsas Cocina in Titusville for Dave and David's birthdays. There was a very long discussion on text messaging about when and where, but it was finalized on this place. Had a great time, but food was ok. And one of my favorite photos of David! 💕

Launch

Beautiful morning launch of SpaceX Falcon9 carrying Starlink satellites! This time with the good camera. 🙂
