Lacrosse Picnic

The end of season Lacrosse Picnic at Rotary Park.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Game against ICS. They lost, 8-7. Hard game to lose, it came down to the very end!

Edgewood Lacrosse

Had another game last night against Satellite High. Edgewood lost again, 14-7.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Had a game last night against Rockledge. Edgewood lost, 13-4.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Game at Satellite Beach. Edgwood lost, 6-14. Edgwood was ahead 6-5 at the half, but they lost focus in the second half.

Edgewood Lacrosse Scrimmages

Chris had some Edgewood Lacrosse Scrimmages yesterday. He was going to go to Rugby, but it was down in Ft Lauderdale and he had to take the ACT. There was no way he was going to make the Rugby game, so Lacrosse it was. First game was against Satellite, Edgewood won 16 - 3. Next up was Viera, and Edgewood won 6 - 3. I think they are ready for the season!

Edgewood Lacrosse Banquet

Yesterday at the Edgewood Lacrosse Banquet, the boys got their letters!  It was really nice.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Made it home just in time for the final lacrosse game against Cocoa Beach.  We won, 16-1!  Anton played the whole game, Chris played about half.  Just before the game, they had Senior Night activities where they honored all the girls and boys lacrosse seniors.  I nearly cried.

They also had a game Wednesday night against Melbourne.  They lost, 10-7, with a big finish at the end.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Boys lost another game last night against West Shore, 15-2. No pics sadly.

Edgewood Lacrosse

The boys had a game against Satellite Beach at home yesterday.  Sadly, they lost, 13-3.  And Anton rolled his ankle around half time.  And it was cold.
And they won the Cocoa Beach game on Tuesday, 17-4!

Edgewood Lacrosse

The boys played Holy Trinity two nights ago.  A huge loss, 25-2.  At least they got 2!  Chris was still sick, so he didn't play.  And Anton was on defense most of the night.

No pictures from last night's game against West Shore.  The boys also lost that one, but they did a little better, 12-4.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Finally, their first win of the season!  13-9 over Eau Gallie.  Chris didn't play because he was sick, Anton played pretty much the whole game on defense.  Also, I got a team photo before the game.

Edgewood Lacrosse

Got home on Friday in time to see the Edgewood Pre-Season Lacrosse Scrimmage Game.  It was Varsity vs Jr Varsity, a little lopsided.  Varsity won, 15-3.  But everyone cheered the 3 points for Jr Varsity.  Anton and Chris were on defense, and Anton was on offense for a short while.

Hanging Out

The boys hung out with some other members of the Edgewood Lacrosse team.  The season was ended yesterday, so it's nice that they can keep together afterwards.

Edgewood Lacrosse

The boys had their final lacrosse game of the season against Eau Gallie.  And they won, 8-4!!  Anton and Chris played defense as usual.  They went to a bonfire after the game to celebrate.

Edgewood LAX

They finally lost to Viera: 11-6.  It was a great game, but Viera was just too strong a team.  They were aggressive, they got most of the penalties.  But they also scored a bunch of goals.  Anton played nearly the whole game, Chris played about half.  Both on defense.
